Sunday, March 20 — SPRING EQUINOX CELEBRATION, 1:00 pm, Historic Dreibelbis Farm, Virginville — Rain or Shine, family friendly gathering at the largest Native American settlement site in Eastern Pennsylvania. Spectators, drummers, flute players welcome. Historical introduction, bonfire drumming jam, Native American Flute open mic, 7 directions blessing, 3 sisters soup and refreshments. Saturday, April 23 — BERKS COUNTY EARTH DAY CELEBRATION, 12:00-6:00 pm, City Park, Downtown Reading — FREE rain or shine event. Visit our booth for educational materials and FREE handouts, trading blanket with handcrafted flutes and rhythm instruments, FREE Sistrum Rattle Craft for children, decorate and learn to play your own PVC Native American Style Flute, plus FREE concert on stage… play along with us.

Sunday, May 1 — INTRODUCTION TO PLAYING DIDGERIDOO WORKSHOP, 2:00-5:00 pm — Preregistration required. FREE event (optional voluntary donation to instructor). No prior experience necessary. Instruments available for loan or for purchase. Bring your own didgeridoo if you have one. Instructor Frank Ravenwolf Henninger will offer individual attention, teaching basic skills in breath control, playing a basic tone with rhythm and vocalizations.

Sunday, July 24 — SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE, 9:30-10:30 am — Bern Reformed United Church of Christ, music program by select members of the Turtle Moon Native American Flute Circle. Congregation participation invited.

Friday, August 19 (Raindate 20th) — BACKYARD DRUM AND FLUTE CIRCLE, evening (pm), Wernersville, PA — FREE, interim outdoor evening meeting at private residence, neighbors invited. Carpool encouraged (parking limited). Bring a drum to share, or borrow a rhythm instrument, plenty provided. Also bring a lawn chair and bug spray if needed. Cold drinks will be provided. Wednesday, October 12, 6:30pm — CONCERT at Bern Reformed United Church of Christ — featuring award-winning duo ANCIENT VOICES David Rose, Native American-style flutes & Dan Kennedy, contemporary piano), plus pre-concert by members of Turtle Moon Native American Flute Circle. Although there is no admission cost, free-will offerings will be graciously received. Autographed CD’s will be available for purchase.

Sunday, December 4, 1–4 pm — MINI CONCERT by SILVER WIND — Mike Mascia (Native American Flute) and Jackie Neuman (guitar) with guest artist Frank Rävenwölf Henninger (percussion), will perform a 1/2 hour concert at our monthly flute circle meeting. Afterwards, members and guests are invited to play along with professional accompaniment. You do not have to be a member to come out and enjoy Silver Wind’s original songs, expert technique, captivating voice and artistic expression!
